Kimberly Dawn Braden 49, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

Born in Topeka, Kansas on December 19, 1972 to the late Ruth McWhirt and Vernon Braden.

She enjoyed camping, caring for her plants, and tv shows. She loved caring for people, helping people and being a mother. She loved family more than anything, her brothers, her uncles, aunts and cousins, and most of all her kids.

She made sure that no matter the distance and time between us, we knew we were loved beyond limits. She carried on the tradition her mother started of collecting and creating recipes in order to leave behind cookbooks full of delicious food that the family could continue to prepare and enjoy for generations to come.

Kimberly will be fondly remembered by all that knew her and the cherished  memories we made with her will keep her spirit alive.

Visitation will be held at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton, NC 28328.
