Kenneth David "KD" Wise 79 of Waycross Road died Friday August 21, 2020 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.

Born in Sampson County,  NC in 1940 to the late Edward and Thelma Honeycutt Wise, Ken was a maintenance foreman.

Ken was a good Christian man who believed in God and the power of prayer. He attended New Freedom FWB Church of Turkey, NC. His hobbies were, working with his hands building and constructing many things. He loved to serve others and make people happy. Ken had a wonderful way of telling jokes to make everyone smile. KD proudly served in the US Air Force and went on to work at Pioneer Chemical until his retirement.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at New Freedom FWB Church, 3055 Cabin Museum Road, Turkey.

Ken leaves to cherish his memories: His wife of 30 years: Patsy Wise, sister in law: Betty Wise, brother: Morris Hall and wife Jo of Clinton, step children:Judy and husband Jerry Stone of Texas, Ruth Rusty Hitzman of Salemburg, grandchildren: Jeremy Guess of Nevada, Michael Guess and wife Misty of Kenansville, Elizabeth Guess of Colorado, Chase Jackson of California, and Virginia Parenteau of Washington,4 great-grandchildren:
