Kaelyn Alexis Kennedy 13, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at her home.

Kaelyn, affectionately called "Juicy" by her mother, was born June 13, 2008 in Durham County. Kaelyn was a student at New Life Christian Academy in Clinton. Kaelyn was a bright girl with beautiful eyes, a bright smile, and a heart of gold. She loved to make others laugh and smile and adored children, often stopping strangers to play with their babies. She loved her siblings and cherished the time she spent with them. Kaelyn loved being outdoors and spending time with the family pets, training them and teaching them tricks. When she wasn't outside, Kaelyn could be found playing PlayStation with her friends. One of her favorite games was "Dead by Daylight". Kaelyn loved the show Supernatural and horror movies, the Chucky movies being her favorite. A rocker at heart, Kaelyn loved her metal and rock music. Self-taught, she had been playing guitar for about a year and was extremely passionate about it. She also loved classic muscle cars and would ask for a calendar of them every year for Christmas.

Kaelyn is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Lee Tant.

Memorial Service at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 5356 Pearces Rd. Zebulon, NC 27597. The family will receive guests at the church following the service.

Kaelyn leaves to cherish her memory her Mother Donna Tant and Stepfather Dale Crockett of the home; her siblings Christopher Kennedy (Kaitlyn) of Virginia, Jeremy Kennedy (Stormy) of Florida, Ashley Woodard (Joshua) of Smithfield, NC and Haileigh Kennedy of the home; grandparents Linda and Kenny Wells; nephew Michael Kennedy of Florida; aunt Lynette Harris (Chris) of Cary, NC; uncle Jamie Tant; cousins Samantha Harris and Brantlee Tant; and her beloved pets: puppies Ace and Bear, cat Cra, and Ginger the chicken.
