Julian was born in S.C. in 1927 to the late Franklin & Emma McDowell Sweat. Julian was a WWII veteran in the US Army, He was a master mechanic and also enjoyed fishing, He was preceded in death by a daughter; Sharon Sweat Wicker, grandson; Ron Sweat, sisters; Alma Sweat, Maria Brown, Lula Holmes, Evelyn Sweat, Lottie Sweat and Ruth Palley, brothers; Floyd Sweat, Carl Sweat, and Irie Sweat. Funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Hope Valley Funeral Chapel, burial will be held privately at the family's request.
