Joseph Allen Whaley 74 passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.

Born in 1947 in Pender County to the late Royal and Mildred Hardison Whaley, Sr., Joseph was self-employed as a painter. Joseph was preceded in death by his wife: Fonda Gail Williams, daughters: Joy Whaley and Shirley Whaley.

In honoring Joseph's wishes there will be no services.

Joseph leaves to cherish his memories: his brother: Royal H. Whaley, Jr. of Roseboro, sister: Maryland Fusells of Fayetteville, grandchildren: Ronnie Smiling, William Tyler, Jr., and Joseph Whaley.
