Funeral Service will be held Tuesday 12:00 Noon October 19, 2010 at Lake Dale Church of God on Progress Street by the Rev. Richard Skinner, Rev Gary Strickland, Rev Stan Carter officiating, Burial will follow at Sunrise Cemetery in Salemburg. Joseph was born in 1939 in Duplin County to the late Ira and Sarah Millen. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the German and Vietnam Wars. He retired as a contractor. His late wife Bertha Catherine Sterling Millen precedes him in death as well as two brothers Tommy Millen and Reaford Millen. Joseph leaves behind his wife Helen Knight Hall Millen of the home. Sons: Joseph (Bobby) Millen (Libby) wife, George D. Millen both of Magnolia, Daughters: June S. Hollis (Joey) husband of Newport VA, Barbara D. Millen (Marc) husband of Charleston SC, Deborah D.
