Jose Gilberto Vasquez Figueroa 35, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024 in Clinton, NC.

Jose was born in El Salvador on May 30, 1989 to Gloria Esperanza Figueroa and the late Jose Joaquin Vasquez. He graduated grade 12 from National Institute of Acajutla in 2008. Upon coming to the United States, Jose worked in construction for 3 years. He loved to build things. His hobbies also included fishing, watching movies, camping, enjoying good food, and playing soccer. Jose gave his life to Christ and found a home within the walls of Central Baptist Church, where he had been a member for a year.

Funeral Services for Jose will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 4:00 pm at Central Baptist Church, 6050 Plain View Hwy, Dunn, NC 28334. Pastor Gene Love, officiating. Jose will be transported back to El Salvador where he will be laid to rest.

Visitation will take place prior to the service, 3:30-4:00 pm, within the church.

Jose leaves behind his mother, Gloria Esperanza Figueroa; special friends: Cleo, Juan, Angel, Juan Carlos, and Eloy; as well as his beloved pets: Ginger, Rosie, Amelia, and Myla.
