Johnathan Norman Moore, 32, departed this life on August 5, 2022. Johnathan was born in Duplin County to Juanita Martinez on July 20, 1990. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Juan Hernandez.

He was an employee of Raeford Farms Inc and enjoyed being the life of the party. When Johnathan wasn't working, he loved to go to the beach, fishing, or simply staying home, grilling out with his family. Johnathan will be remembered as a loving father, son, and brother. Johnathan's spontaneous and outgoing personality left a warm impact on those that knew him.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 13, 2022, from 6:00 – 10:00 PM at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Service & Cremation. The interment will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 14, 2022, at 133 Emma Pate Lane, Mt. Olive, NC 28365. Johnathan is survived by his son, Jackston Ray Moore. He is also survived by his mother, Juanita Martinez; stepfather, David Martinez; siblings, Ronda Hernandez Flores and husband Nacho Flores, Britnie Chavis, Joseph Chavis, and Joshua Chavis; his nieces and nephews he loved very much as well as grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
