John Robinson 44 of 216 Waterdown Drive passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

John graduated from Midway High School in 1996. While attending Midway John enjoyed driving the school bus. He also  assisted  teachers  in the special needs classroom as well as his fellow classmates. In his years at Midway High, John was  the Drum Major in the marching band. He participated in the Color Guard and Track & Field. He also was the first male cheerleader at Midway High School.

After graduating, John worked at the Burger King in Dunn, NC and worked his way up to manager. In 2005, he decided that he wanted more education, so he attended UNC-Pembroke studying Health/PE.  John also went to International Air and Hospitality Academy. He was the former Director Support Staff at Genesis Group HM Services and worked for 12 years at Shine Light as well as Five Guys.

John was preceded in death by his father John Willie Marshall III, grandfathers; Charles Russell Robinson and John Willie Marshall, Jr. grandmothers: Alberta (Bert) Stacker and Helen Marshall.

A Graveside Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, March 26, 2021 at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Dunn.

Henry, Takisha White (Decarlos) Keshonda Sneed, John Marshall IIV (B), Sheena Tart, Brian Tart, Uncles: Jerry Robinson (Victoria), Donald Robinson, Charles "Little C" Robinson (Faith), Aunts: Ida Mae Armstrong (Freddie), Willow Dean McDowell, Annie Robinson (Theo), Lula Robinson, Shelia Robinson Walker (Lawrence), Lisa Stacker (Barry), Great Aunts: Patty Sue Stacker (John), Theresa Robinson Cannon, Annie Ruth Robinson Williams (Issac), Nieces & Nephews: Le Sante Hatcher, JaMyiah Cooley, JaZhara Cox, Terrence Walker, Jr., Emoni Walker, Jasiah White, Zayon Burnett, Teralynn Tart.  A very special friend Steven Douglas.  A very special cousin Katina Sue Bowie.

A Walk Through will be held on Thursday. March 25, 2021 from 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Service, 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton,
