Joel Michael McKenzie 63, of 8308 High House Road passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at his home.

Joel was born July 6, 1958 to Charles Albert McKenzie and Vernie May Matthews McKenzie. He made his living working in healthcare as a caregiver. Joel enjoyed music, especially playing guitar in his spare time.

Joel is preceded in death by his brother Charles Keith McKenzie.

Graveside Memorial Service will be held 11:00 am Saturday May 21, 2022 at Matthews Cemetery, located on Holland Chapel Rd. in Salemburg, NC. Pastor Chris Butler, officiating.

Left to cherish Joel's memory are his mother Vernie May McKenzie and brothers Mitchel and Robert McKenzie.
