Jesse James Boykin 63, passed away peacefully at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Fairfield, California. Jesse went peacefully in his sleep on November 19, 2022 at 2:14 am. Jesse was born on December 5, 1958 in Clinton, NC to the late Henry Lee and Nettie Mae (Wells) Boykin. He was the youngest of the eight children. Preceded in death by his brother, Robert Henry Boykin.

A Celebration of Life will take place at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February4, 2023 at Higher Level Worship Center, 1010 McKoy Street, Clinton, NC 28328.

Visitation will be held from 12:00-7:00 pm, with the family present from 6:00-7:00 pm, on Friday, February 3, 2023 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328.
