Jerry Franklin Whaley, Sr. 57 Passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.

Jerry was born November 3, 1964 in Duplin County to Nancy Atkinson Whaley and the late John Whaley Sr. Jerry enjoyed farming and made his living working on hog farms. He loved his loyal four legged companion Bella, but most of all Jerry loved his family. He will be deeply missed by many. Jerry is preceded in death by his sister Cathy Whaley, brother-in-law Douglas Malone and his dog Bella.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday July 15, 2022 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton, NC 28328.

Visitation will take place from 6:00-8:00 pm, on Thursday July 14, 2022 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton, NC 28328.

Left to cherish the memory of Jerry are his wife Becky Griffin Whaley of the home; children Jerry Franklin Whaley Jr. and wife Chrystal Hall of Clinton and Amanda D. Whaley of Clinton; his mother Nancy Whaley of Magnolia; siblings Ann Arnold of Greenville, John Whaley Jr. of Wallace and Rhonda Malone of Magnolia; grandchildren Jason G. Whaley and Bailey Hunter; great-grandchild Vaylynn Hunter; and special friends Tammie Holland, Barbara Holland and Matt Sanders.
