Ned Jarvis Norris passed away on Friday, February 26, 2021 at Beacon Place in Greensboro with his family by his side after several months of failing health.

Born in 1946 to the late Ned Lawrence Norris & Geneva Hudson Norris.  After 50 years of dedication, Ned retired from the textile business as an Inspector/Fixer. His hobbies were to fish every chance he got, hunt and spend time outdoors. Ned cherished his grandchildren, he loved to spend time with his family and visit with is siblings in his hometown. In addition to his parents Ned is also preceded in death by his daughter Teresa Norris, grandson Christian Terry, brothers Lawrence Edward Norris, Leon Eldridge Norris  Wilson Coy Norris, Gordon Ray Norris and Wilbert Graham Norris and Sister Velma Bullard

A Graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Garland Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Hayes officiating, burial will follow.

Ned leaves behind to cherish his memories: His loving and devoted wife of 35 years Shelby Norris, 2 sons: Wayne Norris and wife Donna and Anthony Norris, A daughter: Angie Norris and husband David, a brother: Ned Coleman Norris, 3 sisters: Dorothy Bordeaux, Queen Clark and Lilly Biegler, grandchildren: Mandy, Chris,, Amelia, Allan and Angelica, great-grandchildren: Sadie, Noah, Jarvis, Hunter and Kayden.
