Parrish, 73 of 5136 Old Mintz Highway died Thursday November 3, 2011 at Highsmith-Rainey Medical Center in Fayetteville. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Monday November 7, 2011 at Carr Chapel Church with the Rev. James Hairr and Rev. L. Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at the Carr Chapel Cemetery. Mrs. Parrish was born December 3, 1937 in Nash County, NC to the late Jasper and Bertha Brown. She leaves to cherish her memories: Her devoted and faithful husband of 50 years Mr. Melvin Parrish of the home. Two Sons: Samuel Parrish of the home, and Willie (Melissa) Parrish Jr., of Mt. Olive, NC. And four Grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 3:00pm - 5:00 pm on Sunday November 6, 2011 at Hope Valley Funeral Service.
