Master James K. Southerland gained his angel wings on Friday, January 12, 2024 at Johnston Health.

James is preceded in death by his Great Grandmother, Sarah Faison Taylor and Great Grandfather, Tommy Rose.

Funeral service will take place at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Best Cathedral of Fresh Fire, 100 S Independence St, Kinston, NC 28504. Bishop Rodrick Best, officiating. Burial will follow at Boney-Field Cemetery located in Pink Hill, NC.
