James Renfrow 67, passed away Friday, April 21, 2023 at Kitty Askins in Goldsboro.

James was born May 15, 1955 in Sampson County to the late Janie France Honeycutt and James Milton Renfrow. We worked as a painter and in his spare time, loved to ride his moped. James was also known to be a talker and enjoyed striking up a conversation with anyone.

James is preceded in death by his parents: Janie and James Renfrow and his brothers: Larry Renfrow, Ray Renfrow, and David Renfrow.

A Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 pm on Monday, April 24, 2023 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328.

Left to cherish the memories of James are his sister: Mary Winders of Clinton; nieces: Mary Dale Davis of Clinton and Karen Lewis of Clinton; great nieces: Jesslyn Johnson and Haley Lewis, both of Clinton; great nephews: Donnie Davis and Zachary Lewis, both of Clinton; and his 4 legged loyal companion, his black lab.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Service & Cremation to assist with funeral expenses.
