James E. Allen, 69 passed away on Friday January 15, 2021 at UNC Johnston Health in Smithfield, NC.

Born on July 14, 1951 to the late James Melvin Allen, and Ila Bessie Adams Allen. He was a loving son, father, husband, and grandpa. For those who knew him, knew he always had his pack of cigarettes in his front T-shirt pocket while smoking one, and drinking his cup of black coffee with that little side grin on his face.

In addition to his parents he is proceeded in death by 3 sisters and 1 brother.

He leaves behind his Wife: Janice Allen; Children: Sandra Cruz, April Yelverton, Christopher Yelverton, Charles Yelverton Jr, and Billy Stanley; A Sister: Sarah Frances Allen; Granddaughters: Rosie Garcia, Halie Yelverton, and Destiny Yelverton; Great Granddaughters: Jasleen Garcia and Nayeli Garcia.
