Irene A. Nadeau 73, of 2605 Five Bridge Rd., passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024 at Mary Gran Nursing Center.

Irene was born in Connecticut on May 19, 1950 to the late Leo and Bernadette Cyr. She worked  in healthcare as a CNA and loved her grandchildren and her fur babies.

Irene is preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Bernadette Cyr and one brother, Kerry Cyr.

A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 pm on Friday, January 12, 2024 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328.

The Family will host a gathering for friends and loved ones from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Thursday evening, January 11, 2024, at the family home located at 2605 Five Bridge Rd., Clinton, NC.

Left to cherish the memories of Irene are her husband of 54 years, Raymond Nadeau of the home; son, Lonnie Nadeau of Maine; daughter, Dana Whitmore of Clinton, NC and Son-in-law, Todd Fulghum of Clinton, NC; grandchildren: Chantel Nadeau and fiance Brandon Williams, Deborah Hall and husband Joshua, Jennifer Whitmore, Nathan Nadeau, Anthony Nadeau, and Richard Cremonese; and 14 great-grandchildren
