A home going service will be held 2:00 pm on Thursday September 22, 2011 at St. Stephens AME Zion Church in Warsaw with the Rev. Jerry Parker officiating. Mr. Lessene was born February 28, 1929 in Duplin county to the late Willie Lessene and Lula Smith. He was preceded in death by his wife: Rosa Lee Lesene. He leaves to cherish his memories: Daughter: Robin Miller of Warsaw, Nc Son: Herbert Lessene of Warsaw, NC Sister: Winnie George Lessene of Washington, DC Brother: Lacy Lessene of Philadelphia, PA Two (2) Grandchildren, Three (3) Great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
