Hazel Alleana Graham 104, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, July 17, 2022.

Hazel Graham was the daughter of the late Hallie Williams and Jinkie Faison. She was the oldest of 11 children. Hazel had 6 brothers and 4 sisters. All but her brother RJ, preceded her in death, including her sister Bernice who passed away just 2 days after Hazel.

Hazel attended Duplin County Schools until she decided to go to work on the farm to help her family. She worked for 35 years then later became a caretaker for some of the local farmers. Hazel met and married Jessie Graham and they were married for 30 years. To their union 6 children were born. 4 sons: Willie, Jessie Jr., Roosevelt (deceased) and Alton and 2 daughters: Doretha and Doris. Hazel also leaves a total of 28 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. Hazel enjoyed singing, clapping her hands and being with her family. She will be greatly missed.

A Home Going Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy. with burial to follow at Devotional Gardens in Warsaw.

A walk thru will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Service, 1246 Hobbton Hwy. from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm with family present from 6:00 pm- 7:00 pm.
