Grace Kannan 92 of 1601 Purdue Drive died Sunday November 18, 2018 Village Green Nursing Center in Fayetteville.

Grace Toler Kannan 92 of Fayetteville North Carolina passed to heaven on Sunday November 18, 2018 at her home away from home Village Green Nursing Center. Grace worked hard for everything she had in her life, including her grandchildren.  Grace would help anyone and give the shirt off her back and her last dollar.  Grace was blessed with special people in her life that were there for her until the end, the family thanks you Lamar.  She loved family gatherings (no pictures), southern cooking, working in her yard, shopping for antiques at the Glory Hole and her 80 year old fern, that somehow money was always found in. She was as tough as nails (and did not mind kicking a## if needed) on the outside but a smile and a Hi Grandma Toler, lit up her eyes and heart and she knew everything she had ever done was for those moments. Her two children supplied her with a great number of grandchildren - (13), great grandchildren - (22) and great, great grandchildren - (4) that gave her the love that she needed to carry her through her 92 years of life. Preceded her in death was her son James T. Toler, a piece of her heart  and great grandchild Jameson. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family!

The family plans to celebrate her life at Village Greens Nursing Center - 1601 Purdue Drive, Fayetteville, North Carolina on November 29, 2018 at 4pm.
