Glenda Smith 74, of 330 Southwood Drive passed away on November 1, 2021 at her home.

Glenda was born in Virginia on May 31, 1947 to the late Clarence Felts and Ocie McMillian. She was a nurse and worked for Mary Gran Nursing Facility for over 20 years and was a proud member of Garland Church of God.

A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, November 5, 2021 at the Garland Town Cemetery

Glenda leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Bobby Smith of the home; her children, Sharon Smith Greene (Rick) of Durham, NC, Sheila Manciu of Clinton, NC, and James Michael Smith of Clinton, NC; sisters, Sandra Kay Mayes of Virginia and Ila Mae Henley of Graham, NC; her best friends Annie Marie Johnson of Garland, NC; niece Penny Spell of Garland, NC; and her four-legged best friend Laila of the home.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to either to Hope Valley Funeral Services or to The Retired Blind Circus Seal Foundation.
