Clinton, Mr. George Wilton Hawkins 53 of 3441 Hobbton Hwy died Saturday January 23, 2010 at Sampson Regional Medical Center. Born in 1957 in Sampson County, George was a lifetime member of Clinton-Sampson Rescue Squad, and the former owner of Auto Glass on Fisher Drive for many years also worked for the Clinton Police Department. George worked for Sampson County Emergency Medical Services as EMT-P and loved to joke and smile, But best of all he loved his family, friends and his beach music. George was preceded in death by his wife Brenda Olear Hawkins and his best friend his grandmother Sarah Boone Haithcox. Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 pm Monday January 25, 2010 at the Clinton Family Worship Center by the Pastor Lynn Blackman officiating, Burial will be held 11:00 am Tuesday January 26, 2010 at Grandview Cemetery.
