GEORGE DOUGLAS MILLEN,52 It is with great sadness that the family of George Douglas Millen, 52, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, announce George was granted his angel wings on November 22, 2016. His final days were spent surrounded by family, George you will be greatly missed. The Funeral Service will be held at 6:30 pm on November 26, 2016 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Service, 1246 Hobbton Hwy, Clinton, NC 28328 After the Funeral, "A Celebration of George Douglas Millen's Life" will be at the home of Joseph and Libby Millen, Address: 617 West Roseboro Street, Roseboro, NC 28382. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Paul Hawkins of Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Service & Cremation. Pastor Eddie Smith will be officiating the service, a Private Burial with the Family will be on Sunday 27, 2016. George was born in Newport News, Virginia on September 8, 1964. George enjoyed fishing, going to yard sales, art walks, especially Thomas Kinkade paintings and wine tastings. George Loved Laughter, being with his family, having fun. Lifelong Jokester. George touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity, and maintained his trademark sense of humor all the way to the end. George is survived by his three children and a grandson, son, Todd Jones of Chicago, daughter, Tiffany Gurak,(husband James) and their son Adler of Chicago, and his four-legged daughter Little Bert, he named after our mother. As well as his brother, Joseph Morton Millen II, (wife Libby) of Roseboro, N.C.; his sister's Barbara Catherine Wilson, (husband Marc) of Summerville, S.C., Sheila Ann Stafford, (husband Jimmy) of Clinton, N.C., Deborah Denise Spell, (husband Jerry) of Roseboro,N.C., and Sarah Elizabeth Faircloth, (husband Timmy)of Roseboro, N.C. Also, his Niece's, Nephew's, Aunt's, Uncle's, Cousin's; and the rest of his family and friends. George is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Bertha Millen; as well as his sister, June Sherlene Hollis.
