Newton Grove

In accordance with our Heavenly Father's plan, Freddie Davis King Jr. was called home Friday, November 25, 2022. When he heard the voice of his father he answered, took his hand, and left it all.

Freddie Davis King Jr. was born January 4,1965 to the late Freddie Davis King Sr and Hattie France King. He received his education from the Sampson County School system. He was employed with House-Autry Mills for many years as well as Hog Slat, both located in Newton Grove, NC. At an early age he joined Point Level Disciple Church of Christ under the leadership of Rev. Jimmy Frederick.

He is preceded in death by his father Freddie Davis King Sr. and sister Susan Renee Howard.

He leaves to cherish his memories his mother: Hattie France King of the home; three sisters: Teresa Young of Fayetteville, NC, Shranda "Shae" Butler of Newton Grove, NC, Regina King of Newton Grove, NC; two brothers: Ray King (Minister Angela King) of Clinton, NC and Prophet Christopher King of Raleigh, NC; three step children: Andrew Raines of Clinton, NC, Regina Raines of Durham, NC, Cleondra Smith of Clinton, NC; four aunts: Beaulah Blue of Clinton, NC, Mary Parker, Annie Parker, and Louise Parker, all of Greensboro, NC; one uncle: Charles Parker of Greensboro, NC; two special brother-in-laws: Elbert Butler of Clinton, NC and Henry Howard of Newton Grove, NC; along with a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 pm Sunday, December 4, 2022 at Running Branch Disciples Church, 354 Running Branch Rd. Clinton, NC 28328. Burial will follow at Sandhill Cemetery, 3 Sampson Street, Clinton, NC 28328.

Visitation will be 1:00-6:00 pm, family present from 5:00-6:00 pm, on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton, NC 28328.
