Francois Lance Seets, 20, passed away at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina, on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 5:00 a.m. A Home Going Service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton. with Elder Jimmy Vann officiating. Born October 31, 1995 at 6:08pm to Jacqueline Rogers and Francois Duan Seets Jr.in Chicago, Illinois, where he lived before permanently relocating to Raleigh, North Carolina. He received his GED certificate from Wake Tech Community College and registered for the fall semester. His plan was to get his associate degree in business and continue on to a 4 year university. Francois had many aspirations and dreams. He was a bright individual, taken away too soon. At a tender age of 20, Francois touched the lives and hearts of many people. His charisma and shining personality made him a joy to be around. Francois believed in living a fulfilling life, so there was never a dull moment with him. From his jokes to his smile, he could brighten up any mood on any given day. His loyalty to others made him the person he was today. No matter the outcome or situation, Francois could be counted on. Francois was known by a few nicknames; Red Man, Frenchy (he loved that name) and L Boogie. The most powerful name he held was being called a child of God. Francois received Jesus Christ as his Lord and savior at a very early age and continue to have him in his heart. He loved children, people and peace. He loved and wanted to be loved, he respected and wanted to be respected. He's survived by his parents Jacqueline Rogers and Francois Duan Seets Jr. He leave behind Bessie Rodriguez and Lillian Seets (grandmothers) and 2 brothers (Jeremy and Christopher), 6 sisters (Stacey, Jasmine, Velisha, Londea, Molly and Destiny), 3 nieces, 3 nephews and a host of family and friends whom will miss him dearly. A visitation will be held prior to the service on Saturday, October 1, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Services provided by Hope valley Hawkins.
