On Thursday, March 5, 2026, GOD ordered a change of address for one of HIS angels, Finel Wilson, to enter into eternal rest. Finel was born in Sanford, FL on July 12, 1938, to the late Robert and Emma Wilson.

Funeral Service will be held 12:00 pm on Friday, March 13, 2026 at Bethlehem Church, 1540 Giddensville Rd., Faison, NC. Burial will follow in SandHill Cemetery, located at 3 Sampson St., Clinton, NC.

A Walk Through will take place 2:00-6:00 pm on Thursday, March 12, 2026, Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC.

Finel was educated in the public school system of Sanford, FL. At an early age he was a hard worker. He moved to New York City and began working for the city of New York; while taking trade school classes. While residing in New York, he met and married Elva Lois Aycock. They eventually moved to North Carolina where he worked, lived and worshipped. Finel was a trusted member and Deacon of El Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church, Faison, NC; until his health declined and he could no longer attend services.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents, one sister, his first wife, and one granddaughter.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Elva Lois Wilson of the home; sons: Ronnie Wilson of Sanford, FL, Finel Wilson of Sanford, FL, Tony (Elizabeth) Wilson of Tampa, FL, Anthony Aycock of the home, Nathaniel (Brenda) Aycock of Queens, NY, Clifton Aycock of the home, and Robert (Tonya) Aycock of Clinton, NC; one daughter: Belinda Wilson of Miami, FL; one sister: Margaret Wilson of Tamps FL; and one brother: Theodore Wilson of Orlando, FL.

In addition he leaves fifteen grandchildren: Ebony Wilson, Demetrius Wilson, Niya Wilson, Keya Wilson, Marquel Wilson, Krystal Wilson, Roshelle Aycock, Racquel Aycock, Nathaniel Aycock, Natisha Aycock, Alicia Aycock, Keyon Aycock, Briana Aycock, La-Bria Aycock, and Nakyra Aycock. 25 great grandchildren, 16 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
