Faymarie Hansel, 68, passed away on Tuesday at Wake Medical Center in Cary. She was the daughter of the late Marion Alton and Mary Elma Durr Gustafson.

Graveside Service will be 2:00pm Monday, March 7, 2022, at Kennebec Baptist Church Cemetery at Kennebec Church Road and Hwy 55 Cross Road in Angier with Pastor Mark Howard officiating

Viewing will be 12:00pm until 1:30pm at Kennebec Baptist Church at 9808 Kennebec Church in Angier.

Faymarie is survived by her husband of 48 years, Robert "Bob" Hansel; daughter, Julie Marie Thompson and husband, Mitch of Wendell; sons, Timothy Paul Hansel and Steven James Hansel both of Willow Spring; sister, Marjorie Virginia Shalita of Greenville; brother, John Alton Gustafson of Greenville; grandchildren, Griffin Lee Thompson, Macgregor William Thompson, Ranger Nicolas Thompson and Cheyenne Marie Thompson.

In addition to her parents, Faymarie was preceded in death by her sister, Julia Ann Barber.
