Eva Harris 71 passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at Sampson Regional Medical Center.

Eva was born November 7, 1950 in Polk County, TN to the late William Cope Taylor and Della Totherrow. She was the youngest of thirteen children. In her free time Eva and her sister enjoyed visiting churches to sing. She loved her gospel and country music. She also enjoyed visiting the mountains and watching true crime shows on television. Eva had a love for animals, especially dogs. Eva always thought about others before herself and her family was always very important to her. She loved them very much and will be greatly missed by them.

Eva is preceded in death by her siblings Lois Green, Enia Walls, Ivalou Duncan, Adam Taylor, Neil Taylor, Eva Bartlett, and Charlie Taylor.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton, NC 28328.

Left to cherish Eva's memory are her husband, George Harris Jr. of the home; her children, Lacherie Hall of Roseboro, NC and Charles Pletcher of Tullahoma, TN; brother, Ralph Taylor of Chandler, NC; her fur babies, Jacie Mae and Boo Boo; grandchildren, Dexter Shook, Adam Shook, Faith Castillo, Hope Frain, and Robert Frain; and her two great-grandchildren, Alexander Frain and Hunter Byers.

Visitation will be held from 11:00-1:00 pm prior to the service Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton, NC 28328.
