Eugenia "Genia" Tew 57, of 131 Byrd Yancy Bass Rd., passed away in the comfort of her home Tuesday, December 19, 2023, with her daughters at her side.

"Genia", as she was affectionately called by many, was born August 4, 1966 in Cumberland County to the late Betty Matthews and Riley Naylor. She worked as a receptionist for the Ford of Clinton dealership. She was a proud and loving mother and grandmother. Spending time with her grandchildren brought her unspeakable joy. "Genia" was a great cook who put heart into her dishes and she loved spending time at the beach.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Sharon Baptist Church, 9957 Turnbull Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28312.

Eugenia is preceded in death by her parents, Betty and Riley Naylor as well as her husband, Woody Tew.

Those left to cherish Eugenia's memory include her daughters: Stephanie Pierson of Rose Hill, NC and Victoria Tew of Clinton. NC; sister: Harriet Owen of Garland, NC; and her 5 grandchildren: Eli, Ivy, Cameron, Cayden, and Sydney.
