Eugene Howard Stone 88 of 2314 Mt. Olive Hwy. passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Duke Regional Hospital in Durham.

Born in 1933 in Vermont to the late Alson David and Sadie Whitney Stone, After serving in the US Army, Eugene worked on a farm, in his free time he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends, one of his favorite things to do was sitting outside under trees, Eugene is preceded in death by his wife: Allie Grace Stone, daughters Rose Stone Lamm and Teresa Stone, grandchildren: Malcolom Stone and Shelia Winchel.

A Graveside Service will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Grandview Memorial Gardens, US 421 North, Clinton.

There will be no public visitation.

Eugene leaves to cherish his memories: his children: Archie Stone of the home, Lee Stone and wife Kathy of Turkey, Sadie Winchel and husband Jerry of Vermont, Linda Tyner and husband Buck of SC, Keith Stone and wife Tina of Newton Grove, Jeanie Campbell of the home, Chris Stone of the home, Allen Stone of Newton Grove, Earl Stone and wife Amy of Faison, 21 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
