Ernestine Stevens departed this life on Sept 10, 2021 at the home of her daughter/caregiver in Durham, NC.

Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 11am at Sandhill Cemetery with the Rev. Donald Powell officiating.

A walk thru will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Service, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton from 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm with family present from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm.

She is survived by the following: Daughters- Trenda Stevens of Durham, NC & Myra Stevens of Clinton, NC Sons-Edward "Mookie" Stevens, Travis Stevens (Catherine), Avis (Patricia)Stevens all of Clinton, NC & Darrick Stevens of Clayton, NC Brothers-Roland Cox  & Smith Cox Jr of Clinton, NC Sisters- Brenda (Earl) Newkirk of Magnolia, NC, Patricia (Clemmie) Daughtry & Lonnie (Bobby) Smith all of Clinton, NC, 17 Grandchildren, 18 Great-Grandchildren, 6 Great Great Grandchildren and A host of family & friends.
