Eric Ray Miller, 39, of 180 Old Peniel Church Road, passed away Friday July 3, 2026.

A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, July 19, 2026 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328. Burial will follow in Springvale Cemetery, located on W. Elizabeth Street in Clinton, NC. 

The family will receive friends the hour prior to the service, 2:00-3:00 pm, within the Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel.

Eric was born on August 18, 1986 to Dean and Bonnie Miller. He worked for Miller Tree Service until he later started his own tree service, ClearView Tree Service. When he wasn't working, you could find him heading out into the woods to go hunting or with a fishing pole in hand, ready to catch his next big fish. 

Eric is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Geraldine Rogerson ;and Louis Rackely; paternal grandparents: Bobby Miller and Judy Bennett; Aunt Barbara R. Fennell and Uncle Frank Arnette.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents: Bonnie Miller (Don) of Fayetteville NC, Dean Miller (Maureen) of Roseboro NC; step grandfather: John Bennett of Clinton NC; step grandmother: Delynn Rackley of Clinton NC; Aunt: Betty Arnette of Fayetteville NC; Uncles: Bobby Rackley (Gina) of Clinton NC and Bobby Miller (Virginia) of Clinton NC; along with a host of very close cousins.
