Roseboro, Mrs. Elnora Simpson, 65 of 4224 Glenbrock Drive, formerly of Roseboro, died Friday March 18th, 2011 at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, NC. She was born January 25th, 1946 in Sampson County to the late Joe C. Winder and Mrs. Elner Roger. A Home going service will be held 1:00pm Saturday March 26th, 2011 at Holly Tabernacle United Holy Church in Roseboro, NC with the Rev. Louise Bucher officiating. Burial will follow at the Roseboro Cemetery. Her father Mr. Joe C. Winder preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her memories: Mother Elner Roger of PA, Two daughters Gina W. Melvin of Durham, NC Marla Winder of PA, Four sons: Eric Winder of NY, Lamont Young, Tyrell Young of Durham, NC Tyrone Young of PA, Four brothers: Arnold Winder, Clarence Dixon, Roderick Winder, John Winderson, all of PA, 20 Grandchildren, 10 Great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
