Clinton, Ella Mae Powell Gardner 90 of 2964 Old Warsaw Road passed away on Monday, July 17, 2017 at her home. Born in Sampson County to the late John & Leona Bass Bradshaw, Ella spent her time caring for her family and raising her children. She is preceded in death by her husbands Carl Powell & Joseph Gardner, Daughter:Joan Bishop, Siblings: Cortel Bradshaw, Lois Powell, Susan Palmer, Neal Moore, Mary Ellen Bradshaw, Elwood Bradshaw. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 on Friday, July 21, 2017 at Bethany Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Ray Jernigan officiating, burial will follow in the Grandview Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Gardner leaves to cherish her loving children: Daughter: Connie Strouth and husband John of Clinton. Sons: Johnnie Powell and wife Vicky of Faison, Jerry Mac Powell of Kenner. Sister: Ruth Rackley of Clinton, NC Brother: John Bradshaw of Clinton, NC Grandchildren: Tony Strouth, Colton Strouth, Alanna Strouth, Shawn Powell, PJ Faircloth, Tabitha Brewer, Jeanine Faircloth & Jessie Powell, Great-Grandchildren: Megan Strouth, Jessica Strouth, Conner Strouth, Anabella Strouth, Ashton Kelly and William Harmon Great-Great-Grandchild: Leigh Rosalles Family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00pm until 2:00pm on Friday, July 21, 2017 at Bethany Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church.
