Due to the will of God, we mourn the passing of a wonderful brother, uncle & friend, Eldaniel "Danny Boy" Morrisey. Danny Boy was born June 16, 1965 to John Calvin & Calduffia McKeithan Morrisey in Clinton, NC. He was called to peace following a brief illness on January 24, 2024, surrounded by his family.

Danny Boy received his education within the Clinton City School system, graduating in 1985.

Danny Boy loved wrestling and westerns. He could often be found baking pound cakes and tea cakes, going to gospel singings, or even be found with his green thumb on his back porch full of flowers.

A Home Going service will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at New Life Outreach Ministries, 708 Sampson Street Clinton, NC. Burial will follow in Sand Hill Cemetery located at 3 Sampson Street, Clinton, NC.

There will be a Walk Through Visitation held 2:00-6:00 pm on Monday, January 29, 2024 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC. Family and friends will gather other times at the home of his brother, Derrick Morrisey, 8501 Turkey Hwy., Turkey, NC.

In addition to his parents, Eldaniel was preceded in death by his sister, Jennifer Morrisey; his nephew, Deyelle Morrisey; and great-niece, Nova Morrisey.

Those left to cherish fond memories are 2 sisters: Patsy Morrisey and Valerie Morrisey Crumpler; 5 brothers: Tyron McKeithan, Pastor Chris Morrisey (Min. Lenora), Derrick Morrisey (Min. Allison), Bertran Morrisey, and Gary Morrisey (Tracy Khan); a special niece & caregiver, Kaneesha Murphy; a special friend & caregiver, James Bigalowe; 4 special great-nephews, who were his world: Jymir Oates, Jeremiah Morrisey, Joseph Morrisey & Jayvon Miller; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
