Edgar E. Maready 84 of 450 Wells Chapel Church Road died Saturday November 27, 2021, at his home.

Edgar was born on June 14, 1937 in Duplin County to the late Berry and Stella Maready. He enjoyed wood working, tending to his flowers, canning and quilting.

He is preceded in death by his wife: Betty Jane Maready, grandchildren: Stephanie Maready and Justin Maready.

A Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Harrells Town Cemetery at 2:00 pm.

Edgar leaves behind to cherish his memory his children: Emily Andrews (Aaron) of Harrells, NC, Lynwood Maready (Kristie) of Harrells; sisters: Margaret Maready and Myrene Thigpen; brothers: Edward Maready, David Maready, Lynn Maready and Timmy Maready; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, and faithful four legged friend Jill Maready.
