Earnest "Ernie" Tucker Jr. 76, of 2905 HB Lewis Rd. died Sunday, May 5 2013 at Mary Gran Nursing Center.
Earnest Was born in Duplin County in 1936 to the late Earnest George and Jennie Summerlin Tucker, He served in the United States Army serving Turing the Korean conflict he was also a member of Grace United Methodist Church, his hobbies included Fishing, woodworking and gardening. He was preceded in death by, Brother, Melvin Ray Tucker and Joseph Rouse, Sisters, Sylvia Jean Christensen, Coy Rouse and Josephine Rouse.
Celebration of Earnest's Life will be held 2:00pm Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Grace United Methodist Church at 800 Smith Street in Clinton, with Rev. Allen Gibson, Samuel Loy and Lay Minister G.W. West officiating. Burial will be held at Sandhill Veteran's Memorial Park in Spring Lake privately at the families request.
