Dudley James Phillips Jr. better known as "Woody" was born in the Union of Flossie Miller and the late Dudley Phillips Sr. on April 21, 1976 in Sampson County. Woody departed an early life on July 26, 2017 around 2:00 pm. Woody graduated from Union High School class of '94. He was employed with Smithfield Foods. He was a loving father, son, friend and also loved by many. He is also proceeded in death by his grandparents Fannie Barnes. Wesley Jackson and Rev. Jimmie and Juanita Phillips. Home Going Service will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, July 30, 2017 at Union Middle School, 455 River Road Clinton, NC 28328 with Rev. James Jackson officiating, burial will follow in the Wilson Chapel Church Cemetery.
