SALEMBURG- Mr. Douglas Allan Williamson, 65 of 165 Honeysuckle Ln., Salemburg, NC passed on July 10th, 2013. A memorial service will be held 6:00 pm Sunday July 28th, 2013 at the Lakewood Country Club Banquet Hall in Salemburg, NC. Doug was born in Durham, NC on October 19, 1947 to the late Chancey Williamson and Mamie Foy. He was an avid Dale Earnhardt Sr., and Nascar fan. At the time of his passing, Doug was a groundskeeper for the Lakewood Country Club. Doug was preceded in death by his daughter Debbie Hollingsworth and a beloved dog, Gizmo. "Doug" leaves to cherish his precious memories: Two (2) daughters Tammie Fleury (Bryan) of Clinton, NC; and Robin Hardison of Wilmington, NC; Son-in-law Gary Hollingsworth of Rose Hill, NC; Best friend Ann Caison of Wallace.
