Douglas Chestnut  59 of 3541 Keener Road passed away on Saturday. March 13, 2021 at his home.

A Home Going Service will be held on at 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton. Burial will be held at a later date.

Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Service & Cremation.

Doug leaves to cherish his memories: mother, Minnie Lou Terell of Clinton, NC; special friend, Mammie Johnson of the home; one son, LaShaun Hargrove (Angela) of Clinton, NC; three grandchildren, Daniysha, Brianna & Jordan Hargrove of Clinton, NC; two brothers, David Chestnutt (Kendra) of Clinton, NC & Chris Smith (Alondrea) of South Carolina; three sisters, Minister Betty Sue Robinson of Newton Grove, NC, Janet Chestnutt of Dunn, NC, & Evangela Brown of Fayetteville, NC; one aunt, Lorene Birtha of New Jersey; four uncles, Thomas, Jimmy, and Willie Hargrove of Clinton, NC & Thomas Chestnutt (Michelle) of Florida. He also leaves to cherish his memories a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
