Dorothy Williams Autry 85 of 1969 Butler Road passed away on Friday, May 29, 2020 at Highsmith Rainey Hospital in Fayetteville.

Dorothy was born September 18th, 1934, A devoted daughter to her parents the late Iley and Clattie Williams. Born and raised in Sampson County, NC, a graduate of Roseboro High School. Dorothy joined Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church at an early age and was recognized for her beautiful singing voice. Her life was full and rich with loving family and friends of her community. Dorothy was preceded in death by five sisters: Oneta Bridges, Katrina Graham, Christine Royal, Adean Autry and Betty Williams, three brothers: Hugh Oliver Williams, James R. Williams and Donnie Lee Williams, one sister-in-law: Berline Lindsey.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church 2316 Maxwell Rd, Autryville, NC 28318.

Dorothy is survived by her husband Charlie Millard Autry, three sons: Randy Autry, Gregory Autry and Bryan Autry, one daughter: Tonya Autry, one grandson: Jamion Autry all of Autryville, NC, Three sisters: Pauline Brown (Stanley) of Salemburg, NC, Susan Autry (Elliott) of Autryville, NC, Lydia Gibson (John) of Autryville, NC, two brothers: RC Williams of Autryville, NC,Bobby Williams (Mary) of Salemburg, NC and sister-in-law: Christine Lockhart of Clinton, NC, Lastly a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family and friends all of who miss her dearly.
