Dorothy Bell, 57, passed away on August 11, 2020.
On Tuesday, August 11, 2020. The Angel of death arrived at a special friends home in Warsaw, North Carolina and removed from our midst Ms. Dorothy Jane Bell an exchange time for eternal rest.
She was born in Duplin County, NC the daughter of the late Addie Lee Bell and George Little, Jr. on December 23, 1962.
She was a stay at home woman devoting her time spending it with her grandchildren, loving and caring, she was an amazing mother, sister, grandmother, friends and a phenomenal woman of God: spreading her inspirational words, thoughts and good graces. Dorothy was preceded in death by her son Jimmy Carter, Jr. and a brother Eddie Bell.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Clinton with Rev. Gerald Underwood officiating.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her son: Robert Artis (Irene) of Roseboro, NC, three daughters: Armisha Artis of Clinton, NC, Stephanie Bell and Robbie Bell both of the home
Sisters: Johanna Bell and Gloria Little-Warren of Faison, NC, Alicia Little of Warsaw, NC a brother: George Little III, two Goddaughters: Sierra McLean of Raleigh, NC and Jessica Tann of Warsaw, NC, Godson: Dareton Skinner of Raleigh, NC, four adopted daughters: Kelia Tonge of Warsaw, NC, Jasmine Blue of Fayetteville, NC, Dionne Staton of Clinton,NC, Terri Shipman of Beulaville, NC adopted son: Jerome Bailey of Kinston, NC, 18 grandchildren, special friends: Robert Artis, Sr. of Warsaw, NC, Carrie Brinson, Anna Tatum, Lena Lopez, Sherry Blue of Clinton, NC, two women she called mom Glenda Belton of Clinton, NC and Anjeanette Kerr of Garland, NC, two special cousins: Clifton Blue of Goldsboro, NC and Wayne Bell of Raleigh, NC, three aunts and a host of other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, August 21, 2020 from 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm with family present from 6:00 - 7:00 pm at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton, NC.
