Wednesday May 1, 2013 Raleigh, Donald "Frank" Groah, 55, entered into eternal rest on Monday April 11, 2013, at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, following a long battle with cancer. Born on July 30, 1957 in Parkersburg, W. Va, to Merle and Sarah (Layfield) Croah, Mr. Groah was a truck driver most of his life. Known as Frank, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and loved the outdoors. There will be no calling hours. There will be a private family gathering at a later date. Mr. Groah was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Edith Lanham. The Groah Family has Entrusted professional services to Hope Valley Funeral Service & Cremation.
