Diann Yost Outlaw 80, of 407 North Blvd. in Clinton, passed away Friday, February 24, 2023.

Diann was born in Maryland on February 12, 1943 to the late Elizabeth Smith and Daniel William Yost Sr. She was a housewife and loving mother to her children. Diann enjoyed cooking, going to flea markets, and hunting for antiques. She also loved going to her favorite place, Southport, NC, where she enjoyed the swings there.

Diann is preceded in death by her parents Elizabeth and Daniel Yost Sr., her husband, Vander Ray Outlaw, and grandson, Nelson Heath.

A Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 pm on Monday, February 27, 2023 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328.

Left to cherish Diann's memory are her children: Connie (George) Bradshaw of Clinton, NC, Patricia (Kevin) Barbour of Roseboro, NC, Dianna Rae (Jimmy) Wise of Shallotte, NC, Vander (Jennifer) Outlaw Jr. of Daytona Beach, FL, and Daniel (Bryn) Outlaw of Bolivia, NC. Diann is also survived by her sister Susan Yost McCumbers of MD; 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
