On Friday, August 19, 2022, God saw fit to pluck His beautiful flower from that astonishing and amazing garden, calling his beloved daughter home. Diana McPherson is our cherished daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She touched the hearts of many and is truly UNFORGETTABLE!

.A Home Going Celebration will take place at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Smith Chapel Church, 7485 Old Mintz Hwy, Garland, NC 28441. Pastor Monde Parker officiating.

Diana was born on March 17, 1952 on St. Patrick's Day (and know that she ALWAYS wore her green). In her early years she attended Pleasant Grove Elementary School and later graduated from Midway High, class of 1970. Gaining lucrative employment at Lundy's Packing Company for over 20 years and later retiring from there. Knowing Diana, you knew you could always find her in the places she loved. Playing softball, attending church, singing in the choir, dancing, playing games (spades, crossword puzzles and solitaire), fellowshipping and loving on her family and friends. She was straight forward and you got the point, however, she was sweet and generous and would help in any way she could. Preceding Diana in death was her daughter Kasual Olitris McPherson; parents William Arthur and Mattie Florence McPherson; and siblings Mattie Marie Leach, Mary Alice,Lula Belle, William Robert, Oscar Miltion, Bobby Ray and Lucille McPherson

Diana is survived by her siblings Clarence Lee McPherson and Eva Doris Pendergrass (Moses); her loving children Mario Lamont McPherson (Lakesha) and Quinn Temekia Cummings McNeil (Ryan); grandchildren Samantha Burton, LaQuitia Kornegay (Vontariaus), Shanique Holmes, Kasual McPherson, Audrianna Faison, Makalya McNeil, LaDarius Corbett, Malcome McNeil, Ryan Jr., London Mason and Braylon McNeil; ten great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 2:00-7:00 pm on Friday, August 26, 2022, with family present from 6:00-7:00 pm, at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton, NC 28328.
