Dewey Addison Smith 25, of 482 Butler Rd., died on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at his home.

Dewey was born in Cumberland County on March 21, 1998 to parents, Chandro Williams and Dewey Lee Smith. Dewey had his own lawn care service and in his freetime he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He was a fan of the Pittsburg Steelers and LA Lakers. Most of all, Dewey was a proud and devoted father of three daughters.

Dewey is preceded in death by his great grandmother: Margret Autry; paternal grandfather: Dewey Smith; paternal grandmother: Ivain Harding; and cousin: Dakota Smith.

Funeral services will take place at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328. Burial will follow in Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 2316 Maxwell Rd., Autryville, NC 28318.

Visitation will be 2:00-6:00 pm, with family present 5:00-6:00 pm, Tuesday, June 27, 2023 , Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328.
