Derrick Lee Owens  "Rambo"  was born on September 22,1977, in Clinton NC. He departed this life  Thursday, August 18, 2022 at Harnett Central Hospital in Lillington NC.

Derrick attended Clinton city schools and joined Pleasant  Grove Freewill Baptist Church at an early age. Derrick loved spending time with his family and friends.

Derrick preceded in death by : his uncle, Mitton Owens, Brother, James Owens and Grandmother, Mary Owens.

Derrick leaves to cherish his memories, His Mother Jewel Lee Owens, Father Frank Emanuel (chief) of  Clinton, NC.

One Brother Yancey Lee Owens (Scarlet) of Clinton, NC. Two Aunts Eldress Kathy Evans , Daffie Brooks (Earl) Both of Clinton, NC. One Great Aunt  Ruthie Edwards of Fredericksburg, VA.

Fiance Renea Tucker of Clinton NC. Special Cousin Grace McNeil of Clinton NC, One Niece Jasmine King of Fayetteville , NC. Special Friend Bobby Walker, and a host of Cousins, Family and Friends.

Visitation will be from 2:00-7:00 pm on Monday August 29, 2022, with family present from 6:00-7:00 pm, at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton, NC 28328.

A Home Going Celebration will take place at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at Hope Valley Chapel 1246 Hobbton Hwy Clinton NC, 28328. Rev. James Jackson, officiating.
