Debra Carr Pierce, 70, passed away in her home, surrounded by her loved ones on Friday June 19, 2026.

Debra was born in Germany on October 31, 1955 to the late Graham M. Carr and Colonial Lett Carr. She was an owner of a skating rink for 24 years. When she wasn't running her skating rink, she enjoyed traveling and loved writing. 

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister: Ada Fischetti, and brother: Thomas Carr.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter: Gentry Pierce (Earl) of Fayetteville; sister: Tammie Smith (Delbert) of Clinton; and 2 grandchildren.
