David was born to the late Annie Bell Murphy and the late David Murphy Sr. David attended Sampson County Schools. He loved fishing, music , but most of all his daughter and grandkids. A home going service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Hope Valley Funeral Chapel 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton N.C.
